Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Assistant (Activity Assistant) to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in planning and delivering enriching activities for our active residents. You will help promote physical, mental, emotional, and social well‑being through diverse programming and engagement.

The role calls for 6–12 months of experience with seniors, strong communication, and the ability to work flexibly including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of relevant experience working with seniors and leading life enrichment activities.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Able to work independently and follow planned activities.
• Maintain respect and dignity in all resident interactions.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in groups.
• Lead or assist with social, religious, educational, indoor and outdoor activities.
• Facilitate games, conversations, exercise classes, and events.
• Assist in decorating for events and seasons.
• Support coordination of monthly newsletter and outings.
• Document resident participation and outcomes as required.
• Review goals and progress notes.
