Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Assistant (Activity Assistant) to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing and coordinating daily life enrichment activities for active residents, promoting physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.

You will engage residents in group and individual settings, lead activities, assist with newsletters, and help coordinate outings, celebrations, and special events while ensuring safety and respect for all residents.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of relevant experience with seniors preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
• Respectful and dignified treatment of residents.
• Friendly, assertive, professional, organized, and multitasked.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in groups.
• Lead or assist with social, educational, and recreational activities.
• Assist in compiling the monthly newsletter.
• Document activity outcomes and progress notes.
• Support event decoration and occasions.
