Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to design, coordinate, and deliver daily life enrichment activities for active residents. You will support the Resident Lifestyle Director and lead engaging group and individual activities aimed at promoting physical, mental, and social well-being.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 months of senior-care activity experience, strong computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook), and a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 6–12 months of experience working with seniors in life enrichment activities.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
• Maintain composure and treat residents with respect and dignity.
• Friendly, assertive, professional, and organized with excellent communication.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in group settings.
• Lead or assist with social, educational, and recreational activities.
• Coordinate activities, exercise, arts, music, and outings.
• Support monthly newsletter and document outcomes as needed.
• Review goals and progress notes and assist with event decor.
• Coordinate external trips, reservations, and ensure resident safety.
