Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing, coordinating daily life enrichment activities for active residents. You will help promote physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being through engaging programs.

The role requires 6–12 months of senior care experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of relevant experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to work independently and follow schedules.
• Excellent communication and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in group settings.
• Lead or assist with group and one-on-one activities, exercise, and outings.
• Facilitate games, conversations, art, music, trips, and events.
• Assist in decorating for special events and holidays.
• Support coordination of the monthly newsletter.
• Encourage resident participation and document outcomes.
• Review goals and progress notes.
• Assist Resident Lifestyle Director as necessary.
