Cogir Senior Living invites applications for a Resident Lifestyle Assistant (Activity Assistant) to support our Resident Lifestyle Director in designing and coordinating daily enrichment activities. The role focuses on promoting physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being for active residents.

The position requires 6–12 months of experience with seniors, proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook, and a friendly, organized, and flexible approach.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of experience working with seniors and leading enrichment activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and team members.
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
• Respectful, compassionate approach toward residents and dignity in care.
• Friendly, assertive, professional, and organized with multitasking ability.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in group settings.
• Lead or assist with social, educational, and recreational activities.
• Facilitate games, crafts, exercise, and events.
• Support monthly newsletter coordination.
• Encourage resident participation and document outcomes as needed.
• Review progress notes and goals with the team.
• Assist decorating for events and celebrations.
• Coordinate external outings and ensure safety during trips.
• Support the Resident Lifestyle Director when needed.
