Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is actively hiring for a Sr. Litigation Specialist – Remote. In this role, you will own complex litigated auto and homeowners claims, guide defense strategy, evaluate settlements, and manage defense costs to achieve timely, fair resolutions.

You’ll lead negotiations, interact with defense counsel, and participate in mediations, while ensuring proper authority and collaboration with executive management. Remote work is supported nationwide, with some location exceptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• High School diploma required.
• Experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes analysis of claim, including facts of loss and applicable factors.
• Directs defense counsel with authority for resolution.
• Reviews liability, damages, coverage, and risk for settlements.
• Collaborates with defense counsel on strategy and negotiations.
• Authorizes and monitors budget for outside counsel and analyzes defense expenses.
• Presents litigated case recommendations to local and executive management.
• Secures authority up to the highest levels for resolution.
