Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Sr. Litigation Specialist for a remote role that supports claims nationwide, with exceptions noted. You will lead complex auto and homeowners litigations, guide defense strategy, and manage settlements and costs.

You will shape claim strategy, coordinate with defense counsel, and participate in negotiations while ensuring timely, fair resolutions and cost control. Remote work aligns with a national scope and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field.
• High School diploma required.
• Proven experience handling insurance claims; senior casualty experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes analysis of claim, including loss facts and factors; creates discovery plan (depositions, IMEs, experts) for first and third-party claims.
• Directs defense counsel with authority for resolution; balances defense costs and indemnity.
• Reviews liability, damages, coverage, and risk for independent settlement considerations.
• Collaborates with defense counsel to strategize negotiations and supports mediation and settlement conferences.
