Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Litigation Specialist to handle complex litigated auto and homeowners claims from a remote setting. You will guide defense counsel, shape strategies, and influence settlements while managing indemnity exposure and defense costs.

You will collaborate with internal teams and executives to present recommendations, secure authority for resolutions, and travel as needed for enterprise meetings. A leadership mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• High School diploma required.
• Proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex litigated claims involving auto and homeowners matters.
• Provide direction to defense counsel and manage settlement authority.
• Evaluate settlements and participate in negotiations to balance costs and indemnity.
• Coordinate with counsel to develop case strategy and negotiate resolutions.
• Monitor outside counsel budgets and review defense expenses.
