Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Sr. Litigation Specialist for a remote position across the United States. You will manage complex litigated auto and homeowners claims, direct defense counsel, evaluate settlements, and drive cost-effective outcomes while maintaining regulatory standards.

You will coordinate strategy, budgets, and negotiations, frequently interacting with executive management and mediations. A strong background in casualty claims and state licensing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• High School diploma required.
• A proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex litigated claims involving auto and homeowners matters.
• Shape claim strategy by directing defense counsel and evaluating settlements.
• Establish settlement authority and participate in negotiations for timely, fair resolutions.
• Communicate with executive management on litigated cases and budgets.
• Authorize and monitor outside counsel budgets and analyze defense expenses.
