CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Litigation Specialist to own complex auto and homeowners litigated claims, guide defense counsel, and drive timely resolutions. The role supports a remote, nationwide workplace with opportunities to engage with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

You will lead discovery plans, negotiate settlements, and manage outside counsel budgets while balancing defense costs and indemnity exposure. Collaboration and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance or risk management or related field or equivalent experience.
• High School diploma required.
• A proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Completes analysis of claims, including loss facts and applicable factors.
• Directs defense counsel with settlement authority and trial strategy.
• Reviews liability, damages, coverage and risk for independent settlement.
• Collaborates with defense counsel for negotiations and mediations.
• Manages outside counsel budget and analyzes defense expenses.
• Presents recommendations to local and executive management for litigated cases.
• Secures authority up to the highest levels for resolution.
