Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Sr. Litigation Specialist (Remote). You will own complex litigated claims in auto and homeowners matters, directing defense counsel, evaluating settlements, and managing defense costs and indemnity exposure.

The role requires coordinating with counsel, achieving timely resolutions, and traveling as needed for in-person mediations. This remote role supports operations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, insurance or risk management; high school diploma may be required.
• Experience handling insurance claims is essential; senior casualty experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns complex litigated claims involving auto and homeowners matters.
• Directs defense counsel, evaluates settlements, and negotiates resolutions.
• Manages budgets for outside counsel and monitors defense costs and indemnity exposure.
• Presents litigated case recommendations to local and executive management.
