Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group in the United States seeks a Sr. Litigation Specialist (Remote). You will own complex litigated auto and homeowner claims, shape strategy with defense counsel, and drive negotiations for timely resolutions while controlling costs and indemnity exposure.

The role requires a law- or claims-focused background with leadership of outside counsel and a track record in senior casualty claims. Remote work is supported with nationwide coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• High School diploma required.
• A proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex litigated claims involving auto and homeowners matters.
• Shape claim strategy by directing defense counsel and evaluating settlement opportunities.
• Establish settlement authority and participate in negotiations to achieve fair, timely resolutions.
• Monitor defense costs and indemnity exposure while maintaining budget discipline.
• Prepare and present litigated case recommendations to local and executive management at IELT level.
• Secure authority up to the highest levels for resolution and coordinate with outside counsel.
