Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Litigation Specialist (Remote) to lead complex litigated auto and homeowners claims. You will define strategies, direct defense counsel, evaluate settlements, and manage budgets for outside counsel, ensuring fair, timely resolutions while controlling costs.

The role supports a remote-friendly, national workforce with travel as needed and requires strong communication with executive leadership to secure resolution authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management or equivalent.
• High School diploma required.
• Experience handling insurance claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claim facts and develop discovery plans for first- and third-party auto/home claims.
• Direct defense counsel, set settlement authority, and monitor outcomes and costs.
• Review liability, damages, coverage, and risk for independent settlements.
• Collaborate with counsel to shape negotiation strategy and participate in mediations.
