Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Litigation Specialist for a remote role. You will own complex litigated auto and homeowner claims, guiding defense strategy, evaluating settlement opportunities, and shaping settlements while controlling defense costs and indemnity exposure.

You will coordinate discovery plans, liaise with defense counsel, and present recommendations to executives. The role requires travel and availability for extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• High School diploma required.
• A proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims and develop discovery plans for first- and third-party auto/homeowner claims.
• Direct defense counsel with authority on resolution, settlements, or trial.
• Review liability, damages, coverage and risk for independent settlements.
• Collaborate with defense counsel on negotiation strategy and participate in mediations.
