Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Litigation Specialist to manage complex litigated claims involving auto and homeowners matters in a remote nationwide role. You will guide defense counsel, evaluate settlements, and manage costs while ensuring timely resolutions.

The role requires collaboration with counsel, budget oversight for outside counsel, and participation in mediations and settlement conferences. Travel as needed within the United States is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, insurance, risk management, or related field.
• High School diploma required.
• Experience handling insurance claims.
• Senior Casualty experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and manage complex litigated claims involving auto/homeowners matters; shape claim strategy with defense counsel.
• Provide direction to defense counsel on settlement authority and negotiation strategy.
• Evaluate settlements, establish settlement authority, and monitor defense costs and indemnity exposure.
