Job summary

Wind Creek Bethlehem is seeking a skilled Cook III to ensure proper preparation and cooking of all menu items in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. You will follow established recipes, uphold quality standards, and maintain sanitized workstations.

You must have at least three years in a high-volume kitchen, ServeSafe certification, and be enrolled in or graduate of a culinary program; ability to lift 50 pounds; flexible shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• ServeSafe certification is required.
• Enrolled in or graduated from a culinary program preferred.
• Working knowledge of sanitation and Health department rules and regulations.
• Ability to read and follow food preparation recipes.
• Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time in proper uniform.
• Prepare all items grilled, sautéed, and fried to specification.
• Complete pre-cooking preparation on all food products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work areas and equipment.
• Prepare, portion, cook and plate food according to standards.
• Ensure station readiness to meet business needs.
• Maintain quality and consistency in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow Health Department rules and company safety standards.
