Job summary

Wind Creek Bethlehem is seeking a Cook II to properly prepare and cook food items in a safe, timely, organized manner while upholding high quality standards. You will follow menus and recipes, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, and work with the team to meet ticket times in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum six months as a line cook, enjoy a team setting, and value Safe Food handling; ServeSafe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written.
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a line cook.
• ServeSafe certification preferred.
• Enrolled in or graduated from a culinary program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrive for shift on time and in proper uniform.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation in work areas and of equipment.
• Prepare, portion, cook and plate food according to restaurant standards.
• Produce from standardized recipes; use standard kitchen equipment.
• Ensure station is prepared to meet anticipated level of business for the day.
• Assist fellow staff as needed.
• Maintain high quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
