Job summary

Veristat is seeking a Senior Business Development Director to drive the expansion of new business within existing accounts and prospective clients, guiding the sales process from lead to contract closure.

You will lead client presentations with cross-functional teams, collaborate with Proposals and Contracts, and help raise Veristat’s visibility in the market through strategic partnerships and promotional materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, or related field.
• 8 to 10 years of experience selling services in CRO/pharma/biotech/life sciences.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Experience with proposal development, contract negotiation and closing a contract.
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
• Travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand new business opportunities within accounts and prospective clients.
• Liaise with Proposals and Contracts to manage the sales process through contract closure.
• Prepare and conduct project-specific client presentations with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Project Management and Finance to establish strategic partnerships.
• Enhance Veristat’s visibility, name recognition, and credibility in the market.
• Assist with development of promotional materials to promote company recognition.
