Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union seeks a Senior Member Services Officer to oversee branch operations, evaluate and authorize loans within assigned limits, and mentor staff across channels. You will respond to member inquiries, balance cash and assist with reconciliations while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

You will also lead training initiatives, resolve complex member complaints, and collaborate with other departments to provide superior service.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree, CCUE Certification, or AA/AS via NC-CTP.
• Minimum 4 years of SECU or related experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train others and mentor less experienced staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resolving member issues and complaints across all delivery channels.
• Evaluate loan applications and make recommendations for approval or denial within limits.
• Train and mentor other employees; supervise MSO area as directed.
• Ensure compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
• Balance a cash drawer and assist with end-of-day balancing and reconciliations.
• Provide customer service across branch operations and multiple service channels.
