SECU seeks a Senior Member Services Officer to oversee branch operations, loan evaluation, and mentoring of staff. You will approve loans within assigned tiers, train teammates, and resolve member issues across channels with a strong emphasis on compliance and service excellence.

The role requires solid knowledge of consumer lending, SECU policies, and the ability to guide newer staff while maintaining high service standards across all delivery channels.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred – Bachelor’s degree, or CCUE Certification, or Associate degree via NC-CTP.
• Minimum 4 years of SECU or directly related experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills; good judgment.

Responsabilités

• Approve loans within assigned limits; review outside limits with senior guidance.
• Assist members with banking needs across channels and resolve complaints.
• Train and mentor junior staff; participate in additional training.
• Balance cash drawers and assist with MSR reconciliation and daily balancing.
• Process wires, account maintenance, and tax-advantaged accounts; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Research and resolve member issues and maintain confidential information.
