Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union seeks a Lead Member Services Officer to supervise the branch operations, oversee lending activities, and mentor staff across channels. The role requires leadership in the branch, debt collections oversight, and training new staff to ensure policy compliance and excellent member service.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience in consumer lending, supervisory skills, and the ability to manage in the branch absence of senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; preferred bachelor’s degree or CCUE.
• Minimum 7 years of SECU or related experience preferred.
• Ability to train others and mentor staff; strong lending knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations and supervise MSO staff as directed by leadership.
• Oversee loan review and underwriting in line with policy.
• Manage collections and coordinate with ABM/VP/SVP.
• Mentor newer staff and ensure training completion.
• Assist with branch loan and deposit operations and reports.
