Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Senior Lease Analyst - RENT to manage global lease administration for large, complex portfolios. You will serve as the primary liaison for clients and stakeholders, maintain lease data accuracy, and drive governance programs with a focus on rent presentment, payments, and reporting.

You will oversee accounts, coordinate with a global team, and ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS standards while supporting audits and transition activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate lease administration and/or accounting/property management.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in business, accounting, real estate, or similar field.
• Experience with commercial real estate databases (Visual Lease, APEX, ProLease, CoStar, WorkTrac, Lucernex, Planon, Manhattan, etc.).
• Experience managing global accounts with 1,000+ leases within an account management structure.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS lease accounting rules (ASC 842, IFRS 16).
• Ability to work independently, preferably remotely, with strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders on global lease administration matters.
• Maintain understanding of client agreements, scope of work, fee structure, and billings; ensure data in WorkTrac is accurate.
• Lead regular client meetings to present portfolio updates, metrics, and reports.
• Develop and maintain client governance programs (reporting cadence, communications, reviews).
• Track expirations, option dates, and other critical information across accounts.
• Manage vendor relationships; validate invoices against lease terms and resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee lease accounting records per US GAAP/IFRS 16 and ensure compliance with policies.
• Prepare monthly rental payment schedules, reconciliations, and financial statements.
