SES Constructors LLC is expanding its civil construction team and seeks a Lead Estimator to join our growing business line. This is a remote position requiring candidates to be in the EST or CST zones, with occasional travel as needed.

The ideal candidate will prepare detailed estimates from plans and specs, produce quantity takeoffs, source subcontractor quotes, assess risks, and collaborate with field and office staff to ensure timely bids that meet project milestones.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering required.
• Field experience in self-perform civil infrastructure including earthwork, utilities, dewatering, road/dam, and pavement.
• Experience estimating federal projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, schedules; proficient with spreadsheets and CPM scheduling.
• Experience with Bid2Win (B2W) and HCSS Heavy Bid; obtain necessary clearance if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates including crew assemblies and production rates.
• Provide detailed quantity takeoff information for materials and total costs.
• Source and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for best value.
• Identify, quantify and address risks with mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with field and office teams during estimate prep.
• Meet interim milestones for constructability and productivity reviews to meet deadlines.
• Support constructability reviews through coordination with project team, designers, and subcontractors; vet pricing.
• Interact with Operations post award to discuss alternates and site conditions.
