SES Constructors LLC is seeking a Lead Estimator to join our growing civil construction business line. You will develop detailed estimates for self-perform heavy civil work based on plans, specifications, and scopes of work, collaborating with field and office teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years estimating experience in the heavy civil construction industry.
• Experience estimating federal projects is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specs.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with estimating software such as Bid2Win and HCSS Heavy Bid.

Responsabilidades

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates including crew assemblies and production rates.
• Provide quantity takeoffs and assess total construction costs.
• Identify and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes for best value.
• Assess risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Prepare inquiries to clients regarding drawings, specs, and scopes.
• Collaborate with field and office teams to prepare each estimate.
• Meet milestones for constructability and productivity reviews to meet deadlines.
• Support constructability reviews and propose alternate approaches as needed.
