SES Constructors LLC is seeking a Lead Estimator to join our Civil Construction team. You will prepare detailed estimates for heavy civil projects based on plans, specs, and scopes of work, while coordinating with field and office teams.

The role requires experience with self-perform contracting, subcontractor sourcing, and risk analysis, with remote work in EST/CST and periodic travel as needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Field experience in self-perform contracting of civil infrastructure including earthwork, utilities, dam/levee, pavement works.
• Experience estimating federal projects is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes of work, and schedules.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, CPM scheduling, and estimating software such as Bid2Win (B2W) and HCSS Heavy Bid.

Responsabilidades

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates based on project size, scope, and mix.
• Provide quantity takeoffs to detail materials and total costs.
• Source and analyze subcontractor/vendor quotes for best value.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans with operations.
• Collaborate with field and office teams for each estimate.
• Meet interim milestones for constructability/productivity reviews before submission deadlines.
• Support constructability reviews with project team, designers, and subcontractors.
