Job summary

Cribl, a remote-first data observability company, seeks a Sr Information Systems Engineer to own core corporate systems, including identity, endpoints, cloud infra, and IT automation, ensuring reliability, security, and scalable operations across time zones.

You’ll collaborate with Security, Enterprise Applications, and People teams to manage Okta, AWS, ServiceNow, MDM, and a growing SaaS stack, while contributing to incident response, on-call rotation, and governance of AI tools and MCP

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate IT roles with significant responsibility for systems administration across identity, SaaS, and/or infrastructure in a cloud-first environment.
• AWS Administration: hands-on IAM, VPCs, EC2/ECS and governance for internal IT or SaaS platforms.
• ServiceNow Administration: hands-on admin of ServiceNow or a similar ITSM platform, including workflows and reporting.
• Enterprise Identity Provider Experience: direct production experience with Okta or Azure AD/Entra ID, including SSO and access policies.
• Endpoint Management Ownership: ownership of macOS and/or Windows endpoint management in a mid-to-large fleet.
• Scripting & Automation: experience with Python/PowerShell/Bash and REST APIs.
• Remote-First Operator: able to work autonomously in a distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Own Cribl's core corporate systems: identity, endpoints, cloud infra, and IT automation.
• Identity, Access & Lifecycle: administer Okta/workflows with least privilege and auditability.
• AWS, Cloud & Core Infrastructure: manage AWS accounts, secure networking, logging and monitoring.
• Endpoint Management & MDM: manage macOS/Windows via MDM with zero-touch provisioning and patching.
• ServiceNow & IT Service Management: administer ITSM data model, catalog, workflows, and SLAs.
• Automation, Integrations & Tooling: design automation workflows and SaaS integrations.
• AI Tools & MCP Governance: govern AI tools and MCP-based agents with proper controls.
• Operations, Support & On-Call: Tier 3 escalation, on-call rotation, and IT metrics reporting.
