Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior IT Support Analyst I to be the senior on-site IT resource at the Wallops Island LC2 office. You will manage on-site IT infrastructure, services, and support, collaborating with Infrastructure and Launch teams to keep critical systems operational. The role requires 5+ years in IT support or infrastructure, strong problem-solving, and experience with AD, scripting, and ITIL processes.

On-site shifts incl. evenings/weekends; travel may occur.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in IT support, systems or infrastructure roles with STEM degree or equivalent.
• Familiar with ITIL and formal Change, Incident, Problem and Configuration management.
• Experience across Windows/Linux, networking, scripting, AD/GPO, and observability tools.
• Experience owning end-to-end IT projects from requirements to support.
• Familiarity with AI platforms, prompts, and evaluating outputs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IT services to Rocket Lab staff and track incidents, requests, changes, and projects.
• Diagnose complex IT issues and author runbooks for future issues.
• Own on-site IT infrastructure and engage with site leadership and teams.
