Job summary

Rocket Lab USA seeks an experienced Senior IT Support Analyst I to join the team onsite at Wallops Island (LC2). You will be the senior on-site IT support for LC2 staff, owning on-site infrastructure, delivering reliable services and collaborating with the wider IT organization to implement solutions.

You will manage incidents, changes, and projects, travel as needed, and support Launch/Mission Operations during critical periods. A STEM background and ITIL familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in IT support, systems or infrastructure roles, with a STEM degree or equivalent technical background, including demonstrable time operating with limited onsite supervision
• Experience with ITIL service delivery framework and Change/Incident/Problem/Configuration management
• Experience across Windows and Linux desktop/server OS, hardware, networking, scripting/automation, AD/GP, monitoring/observability

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day IT service delivery to Rocket Lab staff at LC2 and site teams
• Track and update incidents, requests, problems, changes and projects with documentation
• Diagnose and resolve complex IT issues independently and build runbooks
• Provide guidance and documentation to teams across the site
• Own end-to-end IT projects from requirements through deployment and support
