Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Sr. IT Portfolio Manager to mature lean portfolio practices across IT, partnering with business teams to deliver value.

You will oversee portfolio reporting, budgeting, risk mitigation, and ROI alignment, guiding decisions that balance cost, scope, and schedule in a dynamic environment. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive agile transformation, and ensure governance while optimizing resource allocation and project intake processes.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of IT program/project management with portfolio management experience.
• Experience leading agile transformations and SAFe/Lean practices across multiple teams.
• Bachelor's degree; Master’s preferred; PMP/PMI-ACP certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio budgets ranging from $10M to $100M and coordinate with IT Finance on forecasting and labor reporting.
• Foster collaboration between IT and business partners to align budgets, demand, and investments.
• Provide guidance on options, costs, and ROI impacts; support governance and portfolio reporting to IT leadership.
• Coach Lean-Agile delivery and empower teams to self-manage within the portfolio.
• Oversee portfolio metrics, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvements across initiatives.
