Job summary
Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Sr. IT Portfolio Manager to mature the lean portfolio framework across IT and partner with business units to deliver strategic value.
The role combines lean portfolio knowledge with Ryder's technology portfolio to guide proactive decisions, manage risks, and optimize resources, budgets, and demand.
You will report on portfolio health, facilitate planning, and coach teams to deliver value through Lean-Agile practices and strong stakeholder collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Business Management or related field.
- Master's degree preferred in IT, CS or related field.
- 7+ years IT Program/Project Management with portfolio management experience.
- Experience with multiple Agile frameworks and delivery tooling.
Responsibilities
- Mature lean portfolio management across IT to enable value delivery.
- Develop value-oriented plans balancing budget, scope, and benefits.
- Lead and coach teams in Lean-Agile practices and delivery.
- Align IT investments with strategy and measure ROI and KPIs.
- Oversee portfolio reporting to IT leadership and stakeholders.
