Job summary
Ryder System, Inc. seeks an experienced Sr. IT Portfolio Manager to mature lean portfolio management across IT, partnering with Business and IT leaders to deliver strategic value.
You will develop value-oriented plans, oversee portfolio reporting to IT Leadership, and drive cost-effective solutions aligned with our vision. Responsibilities include managing budgets from $10M to $100M, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and guiding Lean-Agile practices across delivery teams to improve value
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management or related field.
- Master's degree preferred in IT/Business management or related field.
- Seven+ years IT Program/Project Management with portfolio skills and Delivery Team experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage portfolio budgets ($10M–$100M) and align budgets with expected benefits.
- Foster partnerships across IT and Business to enable resource planning and budget decisions.
- Guide Lean-Agile delivery and coach teams across multiple projects and programs.
- Develop and govern portfolio processes: planning, data collection, analysis, prioritization and reporting.
- Drive risk, dependencies, and continuous improvement of delivery pipelines.
