Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Huntsville, AL seeks a Level 3 IT Infrastructure engineer to troubleshoot and resolve complex server, network, and data center issues. You will lead high-importance resolutions, coordinate with Product & Engineering, and support critical manufacturing and enterprise IT environments.

The role requires strong communication skills, experience with Windows Server environments, and willingness to travel to other US sites.

Qualifications

• Tier 3 IT Infrastructure engineer with incident resolution expertise.
• Experience with root-cause analysis by reproducing problems.
• Customer-facing role requiring excellent verbal and written communication under pressure.
• Front-line interface between customer and Product & Engineering for incident resolution.
• Willingness to travel to other Tata sites in the US on a short basis.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and administer Cisco LAN/WAN routing, wireless networks, PBX administration.
• Support IT cabling, infrastructure planning and design tasks (patching, switch config, port enable/disable).
• Manage TCP/IP, DHCP, Subnetting, VLAN, and PoE.
• Experience with packet capture tools (e.g., WireShark).
• Provide fault isolation and escalation coordination with third parties.
