Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a senior IT professional to design, implement, and support critical IT applications and infrastructure. The role emphasizes expert guidance, independent work, and leadership of small to mid-sized projects with occasional off-hours support.

Responsibilities include building, testing, and deploying new modules, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with vendor teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include: HS diploma or equivalent with 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate degree with 8 years, or a Bachelor’s degree with 6 years in IT/related field.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of system functionality to implement new applications and modules.
• Assist users by applying knowledge of workflows to define requirements.
• Tailor systems to meet requirements using available tools and methods.
• Build and configure systems to meet requirements; create documentation of builds.
• Develop test scenarios and participate in testing; coordinate resources.
• Provide input to project and implementation event plans and support during events.
• Lead small to medium projects with oversight; mentor less experienced staff.
• Collaborate with vendors to research issues and ensure optimal capabilities.
• Provide on-call support for critical applications to resolve incidents.
