Job summary

Tufts Medicine seeks an experienced IT Applications professional to design, implement, and support internal applications, systems architecture, and infrastructure. The role focuses on developing and updating applications, diagnosing issues, and delivering training and documentation to users.

The candidate will lead small to mid-size projects, work independently with minimal supervision, and may supervise junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, finance, clinical field, or related field and four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree in information technology, finance, clinical field, or related field and six (6) years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent and eight (8) years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of application functionality by collaborating with senior staff and training materials.
• Collaborate with end users to define requirements and tailor systems accordingly.
• Build and configure systems to meet requirements using available tools.
• Create documentation for custom builds and test scenarios.
• Lead small to medium projects with oversight and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide after-hours on-call support and respond to issues promptly.
