Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support a 100% onsite role at our El Segundo, CA facility. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to NIST SPs, customer directives, and company policies across NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, and JSIG.

Key duties include assessing compliance, auditing, security plan development, and security education. A Security+ or equivalent certification is required within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience, or 3 years with advanced degree.
• Experience with RMF, JSIG, NISPOM and related government standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor system compliance and security education.
• Investigate security violations and prepare corrective actions.
• Review and approve configuration management requests within authority.
• Conduct technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrate new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools.
• Prepare and update cybersecurity documentation.
