RTX is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer II to support Cybersecurity on a 100% onsite basis at its El Segundo, CA facility. The ISSO will oversee compliance, assessments, and operations for systems under their purview, mentoring ISSOs and serving as SME on cybersecurity topics.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent, 8+ years experience (5+ with advanced degree), and an IAM Level I certification.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in cybersecurity, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• IAM Level I certification (Security+ or equivalent) required.
• Experience in cybersecurity, system security/hardening, RMF/JSIG/NISPOM or related standards.

Responsibilities

• Review configuration management requests within authority.
• Conduct technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrate new cybersecurity processes, procedures and tools.
• Assist ISSOs and Cybersecurity Managers with documentation and writing.
• Oversee ISSOs to ensure policy implementation.
• Occasional travel to other Raytheon locations (10–20%).
