Job summary

RTX is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support our Andover, MA facility, onsite. You will work with the ISM to ensure RMF/JSIG and NISPOM compliance across information systems and security programs.

The role emphasizes system compliance, auditing, and security education, with collaboration across the facility security team and government partners to address incidents and improvements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience with Cybersecurity, systems security or hardening is preferred.
• Familiarity with RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, and related standards is valuable.
• Experience with IT systems, databases, networks, or related technologies is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system compliance, audit readiness and security plan development.
• Deliver information systems security education and awareness.
• Investigate information system security violations and prepare corrective action reports.
• Collaborate with facility security, program personnel, and government representatives.
