Job summary

RTX in McKinney, Texas is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support our cybersecurity team on a 100% onsite basis. The successful candidate will work with the ISSM to ensure compliance with NIST SPs, DAAPM, JSIG, and NISPOM, across DoD- and government-related systems, focusing on risk-based security controls and timely reporting.

Preferred candidates have IAM Level I certification or equivalent within six months, and a strong background in RMF, IA controls, and

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree with 3+ years of related work also qualifies.
• Experience in cybersecurity, RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, or related regs.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring system compliance and delivering cybersecurity education.
• Investigating security violations and reporting corrective actions.
• Reviewing and approving configuration management requests.
• Conducting technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrating new cybersecurity processes, procedures, tools.
• Supporting creation and update of cybersecurity documentation.
