Job summary

RTX seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security posture at our Tewksbury, MA site. You will ensure compliance with NIST SPs, RMF and JSIG, interfacing with the ISSM to enforce policies and procedures across the program.

You will mentor staff, coordinate audits, and drive security documentation, training, and incident response readiness in a high-security environment requiring a DoD-style mindset.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Experience with RMF/JSIG/NISPOM, and regulatory standards in professional settings.
• Experience with cybersecurity documentation, audits, and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring system compliance, auditing, security plan development and delivering information systems security education and awareness.
• Investigating information system security violations and helping prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Reviewing and approving (within authority) configuration management requests.
• Conducting technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrating new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools.
• Support the creation, review and update of cybersecurity documentation and other technical writing.
