Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking an experienced Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling development, process qualification, and implementation across manufacturing sites. The role requires technical leadership in mold design, validation, and continuous improvement of ISBM capabilities.

The ideal candidate will drive tooling standards, coordinate across Product Development, R&D, Operations and Quality, and mentor teams on process optimization and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Equivalents in engineering with plastics or packaging acceptable.
• Experience with ISBM tooling and vendors required.
• Knowledge of mold design and hot runners beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, qualification, and validation for new/rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times.
• Develop standards and documentation for operations engineering.
• Train plant personnel on tooling systems and process control.
• Collaborate across product development, R&D, operations, and vendors.
