Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in the United States is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling, process development, validation across manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality to ensure tooling and processes meet safety, quality and performance requirements.

The role drives tooling standards, continuous improvement, and tech leadership across the organization, integrating design, manufacturing and vendor

Qualifications

• Bachelors in engineering or related technical discipline required.
• Experience in plastics packaging and tooling engineering.
• Knowledge of ISBM tooling, DOEs and process validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification and validation activities.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times.
• Develop and maintain process sheets and POA documentation.
• Train plant personnel on processing and tooling best practices.
