Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Sr. Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling projects, mold design, and process qualification across manufacturing sites.

You will collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and vendors to ensure tooling and processes meet safety, quality, and performance standards. You will develop standards, drive best practices, and support continuous improvement of ISBM capabilities while mentoring technicians and engineers across locations.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Startup experience and manufacturing operations involvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new/replacement/rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional/visual/performance specs at designed cycle times.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting processes, machines, tooling, and quality issues.
• Maintain tooling standards, documentation, and CIP/POA processes.
• Lead vendor qualification, project management, and tooling procurement activities.
