Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all blow molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation, providing technical leadership in mold design, process optimization, and equipment validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities for new or rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times.
• Create and maintain Process of Adjustment (POA) documents and baseline operating parameters.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting processes, machines, tooling, and quality issues.
• Lead investigations related to process variation and tooling performance.
