Job summary

Amcor is seeking an experienced Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all aspects of Blow M molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across Amcor manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept through implementation, providing technical leadership in mold design, validation, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience preferred.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors required.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional, visual, and performance specs at designed cycle times.
• Establish validated baseline processes and maintain Master Process Sheets.
• Create and maintain Process of Adjustment (POA) documentation and baseline operating parameters.
• Support machine startups involving new, transferred, modified, or repaired tooling and machines.
