Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Sr. Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all aspects of Blow Molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across Amcor manufacturing operations.

You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation, providing technical leadership in mold manufacturing, process optimization, equipment validation, troubleshooting, and operational excellence initiatives. The role serves as a key liaison between Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Plastics or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting production startup and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional, visual, and performance specs at designed cycle times.
• Develop tooling standards and coordinate mold design with tooling vendors.
• Manage tooling project pipelines and vendor performance.
