Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all aspects of Blow Molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across our manufacturing operations. You will partner with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and Quality to ensure tooling and processes meet safety, quality, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include tooling project management, mold design coordination, and process optimization to achieve target cycle times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering.
• Experience with ISBM tooling and vendors is required.
• Experience with process capability studies, DOE, and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead blow molding tooling projects from concept through implementation.
• Define tooling requirements and coordinate mold design with vendors.
• Lead mold sampling, process qualification and validation activities.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specifications and cycle times.
• Support startups, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
