Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead Blow M molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. This role manages tooling projects from concept to implementation while providing technical leadership in mold design, process optimization, and equipment qualification.

The position requires collaboration with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and vendors to ensure tooling and production systems meet

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors is required.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience conducting process capability studies, DOE, and statistical analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specifications at designed cycle times.
• Develop and maintain Process of Adjustment (POA) documentation and baseline operating parameters.
• Support startups involving new or modified tooling and machines.
