Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all aspects of blow molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept through implementation and provide technical leadership in mold manufacturing, qualification, and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of project management experience preferred.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
• PET packaging industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience conducting process capability studies, DOE, and statistical analysis.
• Experience supporting production startup and manufacturing operations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead ISBM tooling projects from concept through implementation.
• Define tooling requirements and coordinate with vendors.
• Track timelines, budgets, and supplier performance.
• Develop tooling standards and documentation.
• Lead mold sampling, qualification, and validation activities.
• Optimize molding processes for quality and cycle time.
• Support startup and production readiness.
• Provide technical guidance across product development, ops, QA, and supply chain.
