Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Sr. Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all aspects of Blow Molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across Amcor manufacturing operations.

You will manage tooling projects from concept through implementation, providing technical leadership in mold design, process optimization, equipment validation, and troubleshooting to enable safe, high‑quality production. The role serves as a key liaison between Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing or tooling.
• Experience with ISBM tooling, mold qualification, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of CAD, SAP, Windchill, Salesforce, MS Project and Excel.
• PET packaging experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISBM tooling projects from concept to implementation.
• Tune molding processes to meet specs at target cycle times.
• Validate tooling via sampling, qualification, and DOE.
• Collaborate with product development and manufacturing locations to ensure process quality.
