Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead blow molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation, driving technical standards and continuous improvement in ISBM capabilities.

You will collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and vendors to ensure tooling designs and production processes meet safety, quality, and customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Plastics Engineering or related technical discipline required.
• Minimum 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering or tooling engineering.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors is required.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISBM tooling projects from concept to implementation, including quoting and vendor coordination.
• Standardize processes, tooling standards, and documentation across manufacturing locations.
• Perform process capability studies, DOE, validation testing, and troubleshooting to meet specifications.
• Train plant personnel on tooling systems, processing, and maintenance.
